• Question: I was wondering if you were aware of what day of the month that Ultra Jump is released on. Then that would give more closure when I wonder when a translated chapter can be released. - areku23
• Answer:

  It comes out on the 19th of every month. We’re working on getting a more stable/faster raw source currently, but as of now it takes a little over a week to get the raws and a couple days to edit.

Hello everyone! Chapter 18 is nearing completion. In the meantime, in case you haven’t noticed, Viz actually made an official translation of the Jolyne: Fly High with Gucci one-shot, and Gucci has hosted the entire chapter on their facebook page FOR FREE!   I’m excited too! 

Juuust in case you guys thought this was not a thing anymore, I’m gonna just kind of plop this here to remind you. We’re working on getting the first volume rereleased (in SBR quality/style actually, meaning no MQ topaz’d scanlations, much to some people’s delight). It’s been rather slow going, but now with the anime picking up in quality and popularity drastically and with a more perseverant attitude just in general, we’ve been working furiously on both the monthly chapter and the backlogged volumes. We hope to get this first volume out soon, but I won’t make any promises as to a deadline JUUUUST yet! Until then, enjoy the monthly releases and these end-of-chapter sketches from volume 01.

• Question: First of all, great work on the scanlations. It's... stunning. I never thought I could get a quality like this other than Shizuka over at JoJo Project. And you're scanning magazines which is even more amazing. But hearing you are going to scan the volumes got me even more excited for JoJolion. I can't wait for those. With your skills, hopefully, you'll give us the best damn volume scanlation ever. Can't wait for Volume 1. Thanks though for keeping us updated on JoJolion. - Anonymous

  Aww! Thanks, anon! On behalf of the team, we’re all very flattered.

  As far as the volume scans go, they’ve been slow-going. Chapter one has been done for ages, but we took care of that during the hiati during the summer. There is just something daunting about looking at 3 volumes (and counting) of this sort of material and saying “alright, let’s make all of this digital!” But as the team has come together a bit more and we’re learning how to most efficiently clean and typeset, I’ve found more time for the volumes, so rest assured we’re working on it while also trying to make it the best, nicest-looking and untopaz’d version we can present you with!
